The Trek to Get There (Read More)
This is labeled a fundraiser; however, it was more important to the nonprofit that was hosting the race that it be done right so that they could continue this as an annual event. Planning started about 3 months prior to the event which was held on Thanksgiving morning. It was a festive event with many of the runners dressed in theme. That's me in the pilgrim costume.
More than 200 runners registered for the race earning the nonprofit more than 15,000 return on investment with entry fees and sponsorships
